Free FAFSA Financial Aid Workshops

picture of studentsGet FREE professional assistance to complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA is the first step in applying for state and federal financial aid.

Student participants can register to win a $500 educational award!

Free workshops will take place in Miller Center 206 and 207 on:

Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 3 – 7 p.m.
Thursday, November 9, 2017 from 4 – 7 p.m.
Monday, January 22, 2018 from 4 – 7:30 p.m.

Register now (drop ins also welcome).

These workshops are free, open to the public, and intended for anyone who plans to attend any higher education institution next year.

Please bring:
-Social Security number
-Alien registration number, if not a U.S. citizen
-Driver’s license number, if have one
-Last year’s tax information or current tax returns for student and parent(s)
-Information on savings, investments, and business and farm assets for student and parent(s)
-Records of untaxed income.

This event is offered in collaboration with Minnesota College Goal, a statewide program that provides free assistance to students and their families in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
